The art of faux finishing
is not a new paint technique, but one that many ancient artisans skillfully produced. The word "faux," pronounced "Fo," is
defined as, "to fool the eye," because the details of the project reflect what is actually found in nature, fooling the
observer into believing that indeed, it is real.
I enjoy working with homeowners in creating
their vision. The custom finish of each project has unique and one of a kind details that no one else has, as it
is tweeked to the needs and desires of individual homeowners.
Our homes are special place where much time
is spent, therefore should be pleasing to the eye, and in many cases, "fooling to the eye," as well.
